Come to your appointment with clean, makeup free eyes. Contact lenses and lash extensions must be removed prior to your appointment. 

For best results, we strongly discourage daily use of waterproof mascara.

As with most treatments, there is an element of after care required for your lash lift or KLI. 

• Do not rub your lashes or sleep on them
• For the first 48 hours you want to keep your lashes dry (no water or sweat)
• After 48 hours you can wash your face like normal
• After 48 hours you can wear mascara if you wish to
• For best long term results do NOT use waterproof mascara – it is very drying and damaging to your lashes!

First, your lashes are cleansed and primed to ensure that there is no makeup or oil on them.

Next, a silicone shield is adhered to your eyelid using a special, water soluble adhesive. Shields come in three sizes – small, medium, or large depending on the natural length of your lashes or how curly you would like them to be. This shield creates a natural shape and curve to the lashes. 

Once all of the lashes are set in place,  a lifting solution is applied to the upturned lash, and then it is left to set for a pre-determined amount of time, depending on the clients lashes. With KLI, heat is used to activate the solution. With a traditional lash lift, the This is then followed by a neutralizer, or primer,  which is left on for ten minutes. Next a tint is applied, which simply darkens up your natural lashes so that you don’t need to wear mascara! Finally, once the tint has been removed, your lashes are cleansed and removed from the silicone shield. A nourishing oil is applied to your lashes to help remove any residual glue. The shield is then removed from your eyelid and your lashes are combed out. Your lash lift and tint is now complete!

Our lashes are continuously growing in different phases – we lose about 5 lashes per day and likewise, we are growing nwe lashes every day!

To maintain the look of listed lashes you will want to schedule a lift or KLI every 6 weeks or so.

Waterproof mascara can be great for special occasions like weddings, however, the ingredients that make it waterproof are extremely damaging and with daily use will cause your lashes to become dry and brittle!

If you’ve noticed that your lashes appear blunt or broken at the end instead of tapered (like hair should be) I’d suggest a series of KLI treatments to rebuild the hair and bring it back to life!
