Year in review, rewards program, and a new service, OH MY!

2017, What a year!!

While I became a certified microblade artist in October of 2016, the journey for me really picked up steam in 2017. Immediately after receiving my certification I began working at a small medispa in Langley at the same time keeping my full time job in Vancouver. After a few months of juggling both careers and my young family, I decided to quit my full time job and open a studio in my home. It was an exciting and nerve wracking process. I went through many ups, downs, and challenges setting-up my own fully authorized studio through the City of Surrey.

On May 1, 2017 the Fraser Health Authority gave me the green light to open and I began seeing clients the very next day. This was a huge milestone for me and one that couldn’t have been done without the support and encouragement of my family.

Shortly after opening as a cosmetic tattoo studio, specializing in microblading, I met Emma of Beautiful Bright Smile, a local teeth whitening studio and a fellow microblade artist in the Fraser Valley. Shortly after our first meeting I trained with Emma and started operating as a franchise of Beautiful Bright Smile. Offering my clients this Health Canada approved teeth whitening system has been so rewarding and the results my clients achieve are unreal! I offer teeth whitening as a stand-alone service or as an add-on to our other services.

A little over a month ago, at the start of December,2017, I attended a microblading Master Class appropriately named Elevate, through Tebori Academy. This class focused on taking our technical and business skills to the next level in order to better serve our clients. We also learned the art of shading, which I am excited to now offer my clients. Shading adds another dimension to microblading and is great for clients with little to no natural hair or for those who may have small, dark patches of natural hair. For a more ‘made up’ look, you can get shading alone, a look called ‘powder brows’.

Needless to say 2017 was a busy and exciting year and was so rewarding for me.

New Services

I am super excited that as of the third week in January I will be offering my clients lash lift and tints!!! A lash lift is an awesome way to enhance your lashes without the need for extensions. This service lifts your own natural lashes using a special curling system. The results last for approximately 6-8 weeks, but vary from person to person. How the referral program works

It’s so easy! When you come in for a service you will be given 5 business/referral cards. Write your name on the cards and pass them out to friends or family who might be interested in the services that we offer.

When your friends or family book with us and mention your name you will be given a 20% discount on a future service!! If five people book using your referral cards/name you will get ONE FREE service!!!
